Talkeetna ... the town that Northern Exposure was modeled from.

That's the center of town ... with their "Moose Dropping Festival" sign proudly hanging

To the left and right there may have been a half dozen buildings on either side ... maybe 6 behind me

And that was it ....  we'll see a little more of this on our return trip ... during the festival
